In terms of application scenarios, polycarbonate sheets have achieved breakthroughs in multiple aspects. In the transportation field, large hubs such as Guangzhou South Railway Station and Chongqing Jiangbei Airport have adopted them as lighting components, balancing safety and light transmission needs; in the construction field, they are widely used in high-rise building lighting roofs, greenhouses, etc. The hollow structure can reduce the usage of steel structures by 40%, helping to save energy and reduce consumption; in the safety protection field, relying on their excellent impact resistance, they are used in bulletproof glass, bank safety windows and other scenarios to build a solid safety defense line.
It is reported that at present, China has become the world's major production and application market for polycarbonate sheets. Relevant enterprises actively participate in the formulation of industry standards to promote the standardization of product quality. At the same time, the R&D and application of environmentally friendly and recyclable PC sheets further conform to the concept of green development, and the market scale is expected to continue to grow steadily in the future. Insiders said that with the continuous breakthrough of technology, polycarbonate sheets will realize application expansion in more high-end fields and continue to empower the high-quality development of various industries.
