Domestic Ultra-thick Flame Retardant Solid PC Sheet Breaks Monopoly, Applied to Landmark Curtain Wall in Xiongan New Area

      Recently, domestic 12mm ultra-thick flame retardant solid PC sheets have been successfully applied to a landmark building curtain wall project in Xiongan New Area. It marks that China’s high-end PC panels have completely broken overseas monopoly in the fields of large-span curtain walls, fire safety and ultra-thick plates, achieving dual breakthroughs in technology and application.

     The total curtain wall area of the project exceeds 28,000 square meters, adopting a combination of transparent and frosted dual-color solid PC sheets, meeting four core requirements of high permeability, diffuse reflection, typhoon resistance and B1 fire resistance grade. Compared with traditional glass curtain walls, PC panels weigh only half of glass, with impact resistance 250 times that of glass. They can be bent for large-span installation, which greatly reduces steel structure cost and construction period, and improves heat preservation and energy saving by more than 30%, fully complying with Xiongan green building standards.

      Made of high-quality PC raw materials, nano flame retardant modification and double-sided UV coating, the ultra-thick PC sheet will not deform or crack under extreme temperature difference from -40℃ to 120℃, with a service life of up to 20 years. At present, this series of products have been widely used in major projects such as Beijing Sub-center, Hangzhou Asian Games Village and Shenzhen Bay Complex.
