Anti UV Corrugated PC Wave Sheet 4x8ft Roofing — Wave Profile for Long-Life Transparent Roofing
Choosing a roofing material that resists UV degradation over the long term is a real challenge for industrial, agricultural, and residential projects alike. The Anti UV Corrugated PC Wave Sheet 4x8ft Roofing is made from 100% virgin polycarbonate resin in a standard 1220×2440mm format. A co-extruded UV protection layer, applied directly during extrusion, blocks 98%–100% of UVA/UVB radiation below 380nm. Available in thicknesses from 0.75mm to 3.0mm with 70+ profile moulds, it is manufactured by a producer with 30+ years of polycarbonate production experience.
What Makes This Corrugated PC Wave Sheet Different?
Within a few years of being exposed to UV light, most standard plastic covering turns yellow, breaks easily, or cracks. This sheet fixes that problem by adding a co-extruded UV layer while it is being made, instead of adding it as a coating afterward. As long as the layer is attached to the sheet, it won't peel or wear away without the base.
The 12202440mm (4x8ft) size fits with normal building lines, which means less cutting needs to be done on-site. The wave and corrugated profile makes the structure more rigid while keeping the sheet weight low. This makes it easier to install new frames and make changes to old ones.

Key Technical Properties
Anti UV Corrugated PC Wave Sheet 4x8ft Roofing has a co-extruded UV layer that is 50–100 microns thick and blocks light below 380nm. As part of the production quality process, electron microscopy (minimum 50μm) is used to check the thickness of the UV layer. As per ASTM G154, rapid weathering tests that last for 2,000 hours or more are used to check the stability of the Yellowing Index (YI).
ISO 6603 says that the falling dart method is used to test impact protection. The sheets can handle 20 mm hailstones travelling at 21 m/s without breaking, which is a good test for exposed roofing in places where storms are common.
Depending on the colour you choose, light transmission goes from 12% to 95%. Clear panels let in as much light as possible. Options in opal, bronze, and grey cut down on glare and sun heat gain, which is useful for gardens, patios, and covered walks.
With a service temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, this sheet can be used in cold northern climates as well as hot places like the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Where This Sheet Gets Used
Industrial Skylights and Warehouses
Large steel-frame buildings use corrugated PC sheets to let in natural light, which can cut down on the need for artificial lighting without putting the roof at risk.
Commercial greenhouses and farming
The measurements of 4x8ft fit right onto standard greenhouse frame spacing. Light that has been screened to block UV rays helps photosynthesis while reducing the amount of light that can burn plants.
Patios, carports, and pergolas for homes
For these uses, you need materials that can handle wind load, long-term UV exposure, and salt spray in coastal areas. All three problems are solved by the wave profile and the polycarbonate material.
Walkways and corridors with roofs
This is a good choice for connecting buildings or giving shade to areas with a lot of foot traffic because the sheets are light and don't block light well.
Available Colors and Customization
Color options include transparent, bronze, grey, opal, lake blue, amber, dark blue, silver, orange, and yellow. Custom colors are available on request.
For the Anti UV Corrugated PC Wave Sheet 4x8ft Roofing, more than 70 free profile moulds cover trapezoidal, round wave, and other standard global roofing profiles. This allows these corrugated PC sheets to match existing metal roofing profiles without requiring custom fabrication on your end.
OEM and ODM services are supported. Smaller-size cutting, film coating, CNC cutting, and special-shaped processing are all available. For non-standard project requirements, contact the team directly with your specifications.
Quality Control Process
Each batch is inspected three times: when the raw materials are received, when the product is being made, and when it is delivered.
Some of the tests that are done are impact resistance according to ISO 6603, rapid ageing according to ASTM G154 (2,000 hours or more), and light transfer and haze analysis according to ASTM D1003. Dimensional checks show that each 4x8ft sheet meets the tolerances needed for installing a modular frame.
The products are certified by ISO 9001:2015, CE, RoHS, UDEM, and KOSHER, which helps them meet the needs of buyers in Europe, Central Asia, and other countries.
Installation Guidelines
Never put it in so that the UV-protected side faces inward. There are marks on the protective film that show which side this is. Installing the sheet backward breaks the guarantee and speeds up the wear and tear on the surface.
Make holes that are 2–3 mm bigger than the screw's width first. When the temperature changes, polycarbonate expands and shrinks. The sheet can move without cracking or breaking at the fixing points because the holes are too big.
For sheets that are 1050 mm wide, use 5 to 6 screws per purlin. Glue at the wave's peak, not its trough, so water doesn't get into the places where the bolts are. Do not walk directly on the sheets that have been installed. Instead, use roof boards or ladders that span across the support purlins.
Because these sheets can be longitudinally curved with a minimum radius of about 4 meters for standard wave profiles, they can be used in designs for curved pergolas and canopies.
FAQ
Q1: Will it fit my existing metal roof profile?
A: Over 70 different profile moulds are available — including trapezoidal and round wave — designed to match standard global metal roofing profiles without additional fabrication work.
Q2: How long does the UV protection last?
A: The warranty covers significant yellowing (delta YI <5) and light transmission loss for the warranty period stated at purchase, which ranges from 10 to 20 years depending on the product specification selected.
Q3: Which side faces the sun?
A: The UV-protected side, identified by the marked protective film, must face outward. Installing it reversed voids the warranty.
Q4: Does the sheet expand in heat?
A: Yes. Pre-drill holes 2–3mm larger than the screw diameter to allow for thermal movement without cracking or buckling.
Q5: Can it handle heavy hail?
A: Sheets are tested against 20mm hailstones at 21m/s per ISO 6603 without fracture, making them suitable for exposed roofing in hail-prone regions.
Q6: Can I use it on a curved roof?
A: Yes. Standard wave profiles support longitudinal curving with a minimum radius of approximately 4 meters, suitable for curved canopy and pergola applications.
