2026 Trade Show Season: The Five Questions Buyers Asked Most

Oct 30, 2026

Where we exhibited

In autumn 2026 SINHAI exhibited at the Canton Fair (building and decoration materials) and at the Tashkent building materials exhibition in Uzbekistan. 【Session number and booth to be confirmed against company records】

The two audiences differ clearly:

• Canton Fair: buyers from South America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Fragmented requirements, mid-sized orders, strong preference for one-stop supply.

• Tashkent: mainly Central Asian buyers in greenhouses, factory roof lighting and canopies, highly sensitive to lead time because overland routing from Kashgar is far quicker than sea freight.

The five questions

1. "Will the colour match across the whole batch?"

A South American buyer working on a building project put it bluntly: one batch of bronze sheet, zero colour deviation.

It is solvable, with conditions: one masterbatch, one line, continuous scheduling. Across batches or across lines, deviation is close to inevitable. Our approach is to reserve masterbatch for the full project quantity and lock line slots, producing in stages under a single batch number. The buyer's job is to write the permissible colour difference and same-batch delivery into the contract.

2. "Is it virgin resin? How thick is the UV layer?"

Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian buyers press hardest here, given high UV and humidity. The answer has to be specific: which resin producer, which grade, co-extruded or coated, single- or double-sided, how many micrometres.

"We use good material" is not an answer. "Grade-3R virgin resin with double-sided co-extruded UV" is. Put it in a contract annex — a supplier who will sign it is a supplier who means it.

3. "Can you cut to my size?"

Yes, and this is the fastest-growing request category. This year the volume came from small-format custom panels: facade sample pieces, prototypes, repair replacements. Our cut-to-size service produces small formats from drawings, cutting site waste — especially on irregular and narrow pieces where on-site cutting wastes a great deal.

4. "Who pays for tooling?"

Every buyer doing a corrugated replacement asks. The answer depends on whether the profile sits in the standard mould bank. We hold more than 70 corrugated moulds, so common trapezoidal, wave, Roman and embossed profiles carry no tooling charge. Special profiles need a mould, quoted with its lead time. In negotiation, settle three points: mould ownership, whether repeat orders incur the charge again, and how long the mould is held.

5. "Can you guarantee the delivery date?"

The sharpest question of the year, with resin rising and vessel schedules moving. Honestly: no supplier can guarantee "never late", but three things can be guaranteed —

• the date goes into the contract with a liability clause;

• resin stock is confirmed before scheduling, and shortfalls are flagged early rather than at the deadline;

• production milestones (material prep, extrusion, packing, loading) are shared so the buyer can judge risk independently.

Three tips for the next show

1. Bring drawings, not descriptions. Thickness, size and quantity allow an on-the-spot quote; "I need polycarbonate sheet" costs three more rounds of email.

2. Bring a sample of the old panel. For replacement projects, a 10 cm offcut beats ten photographs.

3. Ask for reports, not certificate photos. "Which reports exist for this thickness, and when were they issued?" separates manufacturers from traders immediately.

If you did not attend

Send the application, thickness, size, colour, destination port and required date. We reply within 24 hours with a specification recommendation, container loading quantity and lead time. A trade show is how people meet; delivery is how the relationship starts.

FAQ

Can I get the same price without attending the show?

Yes. Show pricing is simply volume pricing plus faster decision-making. Give us a clear specification and quantity and the same logic applies.

Do you accept small custom orders of a few dozen square metres?

Yes, but understand the cost structure: at small volume, cost sits in setup, colour change and packing, not resin. Consolidating a small order with standard specifications in one container cuts unit freight noticeably.

For Central Asia, sea or overland?

Overland usually wins. From Kashgar to Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan is typically 10–15 days faster than sea freight including port and inland transfer. Exact transit depends on border clearance; we confirm the route before order confirmation.
