Polycarbonate Panel Accessories — H / U / F / Corner Profiles for PC Sheet Installation
Polycarbonate panel accessories are the components that seal, connect and complete any PC sheet installation and include H-type joiners, U-type end caps, F-snap profiles and corner profiles. These profiles are made of 100% virgin PC resin with a UV co-extrusion layer and are compatible with sheet thicknesses from 4 mm to 20 mm. Standard lengths are 2.1m, 5.8m and 6m. Custom cutting is available. Colours include translucent, lake blue, bronze, grey and green. Panel matched colour supply provided on request.
What Each Profile Type Does?
Every profile in this range solves a specific installation problem. Using the wrong type — or a generic substitute — leads to water ingress, thermal cracking, or surface crazing.
- H connector (joiner): Connects two adjacent panels edge to edge along a continuous run
- U sealer (end cap): Closes the open channel ends of multiwall panels, blocking dust and moisture from entering the flutes
- F snap profile: Delivers a clean snap-lock edge finish on exposed panel perimeters
- Corner profile: Manages angle transitions in canopies, roofing ridges, and facade junctions
Each type is dimensioned to match Sinhai's own PC sheet thickness tolerances, so there are no loose fits or unexpected gaps at the joint.

Material and UV Performance
All profiles are extruded from 100% virgin PC resin. Recycled resin introduces inconsistencies in hardness, color stability, and UV resistance — variables that cause premature yellowing or brittleness in outdoor installations.
The UV co-extrusion layer is applied during production, not as a surface coating. This is the same UV protection method used across Sinhai's main PC sheet lines, which means the accessory and the sheet age at a comparable rate under outdoor exposure.
Why Profile Compatibility Matters?
Polycarbonate expands and contracts more than steel or wood under temperature change. A thermal expansion coefficient of approximately 0.065 mm/m°C means a 6 m sheet can shift several millimeters across a 40°C temperature swing.
Profiles built specifically for polycarbonate panel accessories allow controlled movement while maintaining a secure hold — reducing the risk of joint failure, cracking, or water ingress. Generic PVC gaskets carry an additional risk: PVC plasticizers can migrate into polycarbonate, causing surface crazing.
Profiles in this range are dimensioned to the 4 mm–20 mm thickness series, matching Sinhai's sheet production tolerances directly.
Applications
Industrial skylights and north-light roofing: H-joiners and F-snap profiles connect large panel runs across production floor bays, maintaining sealed joints under wind load and thermal cycling.
Commercial greenhouse structures: U-profile end caps close multiwall panel channels, limiting internal condensation and protecting light transmittance — both relevant to crop performance in controlled-environment growing.
Architectural facades and covered walkways: Color-matched H-profiles and corner profiles accommodate thermal movement in outdoor installations while keeping visible joints clean and consistent.
Canopies, pergolas, and residential awnings: F-snap and corner profiles provide neat edge finishing for both contractor-built and self-build structures.
Customization and Order Options
OEM and ODM orders are supported for profile colors, lengths, and packaging configuration. Panels and accessories in matching lake blue or bronze can be ordered together, with color alignment managed in a single production run.
Transparent stock profiles are available for immediate dispatch. Customized color orders and non-standard cut lengths are produced with a standard lead time of approximately one week. Samples are available before bulk order commitment.
Certifications
These polycarbonate panel accessories are certified to ISO 9001:2015. UDEM and KOSHER certifications are also held; buyers with specific market or sector requirements are welcome to request documentation.
Sinhai was named as one of the main drafting units for the Chinese National Standard for Plastics — Polycarbonate Sheets (released September 29, 2024; implemented April 1, 2025). Involvement at the standards-drafting level reflects technical depth in polycarbonate system engineering beyond typical OEM manufacturing.
FAQ
Q: Why use Sinhai accessories with Sinhai sheets?
A: Profile slot widths are dimensioned to match Sinhai's sheet thickness tolerances directly. Color matching between panels and accessories is also managed in one order, with no separate sourcing required.
Q: What thickness range do the profiles cover?
A: 4 mm to 20 mm — spanning thin single-wall sheets through to thick multiwall panels.
Q: Are profiles available in colors other than transparent?
A: Yes. Available in transparent, lake blue, bronze, grey, and green. Custom color matching to ordered panels is supported on request.
Q: Can profiles be cut to 5 m?
A: Standard stock lengths are 2.1 m, 5.8 m, and 6 m. A cutting service for 5 m or other non-standard lengths is available; specify your requirement at the time of ordering.
Q: Are samples available before a bulk order?
A: Yes. Contact the team to request samples matched to your panel specification and color preference.
